The project has already started.
According to the official website of the People's Government of Fengning Yumei Autonomous County, we learned that the construction of the Fengning Yuershan wind power project will begin in April 2023.
This project is a 250,000 kilowatt integrated wind, photovoltaic and hydrogen energy storage project in Xinjiang Tebian Xinlong Yuershan, with a total investment of 988 million yuan and 30 new 5MW wind turbines.
Fengning Yuershan Wind Power Project includes 60MW wind turbines and supporting facilities, 35kV switching stations, on-site power transmission and transformation lines, and maintenance roads , etc.
Xinjiang Dabancheng Wind Power Plant is China's first large-scale wind power plant and the largest wind power plant in Asia. There are currently 200 wind turbines installed, with an electricity production capacity ofnnually of 18 million watts. Xinjiang is one of the richest wind resource regions in China, with annual wind reserves of 912.7 billion kilowatts, second only to Inner Mongolia. Xinjiang uses wind resources to generate electricity, and wind power will become an important alternative energy source in Xinjiang in the future.
