The LeFeng generator belt should be replaced every 2 years or 60,000 kilometers. When small cracks appear on the contact surface between the belt and the pulley, it should be replaced in time. Take LeFeng's 1.6MT Charming Edition 2010 as an example. This car is a small car with a 5-speed automatic transmission, a 4-door, 5-seat body structure, and a naturally aspirated air intake. The length, width and height of the body are 4345mm, 1690mm and 1507mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2480mm. Its front suspension is MacPherson independent suspension and the rear suspension is non-independent torsion beam suspension. -bearing. The electrically assisted type is hydraulic mechanically assisted, and the driving mode is front-wheel drive.

Steps to replace the alternator of the old modelLovo 1.6:
1. Test the alternator and regulator before removing them.
2. Remove the alternator.
3. If the front bearing needs to be replaced, use an appropriate specification wrench and a 22mm wrench to remove the pulley locknut, and use an impact wrench if necessary.
4. Remove the flange nut.
5. Remove the end cover and terminal insulator.
6. Remove the brush holder assembly.
7. Remove the four bolts, then remove the rear housing assembly and gasket.
8. If you do not want to replace the front bearing, proceed to step 13. Remove the rotor from the drive end housing.
9. Check the rotor shaft for scratches and check the surface of the bearing journal on the drive end housing for signs of sticking. If the rotor is damaged, replace the rotor assembly. If the rotor is OK, go to step 10.
10. Remove the front bearing carrier.
11. Use a brass punch and hammer to knock out the front bearing.
12. Use a hammer, puller handle, and bearing puller accessory to install a new front bearing into the drive end housing.
13. Use caliper B to measure the length of two brushes A. If the length of any brush is less than the service limit, replace the brush holder assembly. If the brush length is normal, go to step 14.
14. Check to see if there is continuity between slip rings A. If there is continuity, go to step 15. If there is no continuity, replace the rotor assembly.
15. Check to see if there is continuity between each slip ring, rotor B, and rotor shaft C. If there is no continuity, replace the back housing assembly and go to step 16. If there is continuity, replace the rotor assembly.
16. If the pulley has been removed, place the rotor into the drive end housing, then tighten the jam nut to standard torque.
17. Remove all grease and oil from the slip ring.
18. Assemble the rear housing assembly and the drive side housing/rotor assembly and tighten the four through-bolts.
19. Push in brush A, then insert pin or drill bit B (diameter about 1.6mm) to secure it.
20. Install the brush holder and remove the pin or drill bit. Install the end cap.
21. Once the alternator is reassembled, turn the pulley by hand to check that the rotor turns smoothly and quietly.
22. Install the alternator.
