If the gasoline generator is not used for a long time, the gasoline will not expand, but it will damage the fuel tank!
If you will not use your gasoline generator for six months or more, please make the following preparations before storing it.
1. The generator can be kept in a well-ventilated area with low humidity.
2. First disconnect the fuel hose, then carefully drain the remaining oil in the fuel tank and filter (cup). Leaving gasoline in the tank for a long time will damage the tank and make it difficult to restart.
3. You can loosen the oil drain screw on the carburetor float chamber to drain the fuel into the carburetor, or start and run a small gasoline generator without any load until it generates electricity . Stop until the engine fuels.is exhausted.
4. Disconnect the battery terminals. Then check the accumulator fluid level and add distilled water if necessary.
5. Change the engine oil. Used engine oil will produce a lot of residue, and if it is parked for a long time, it will produce a lot of sediment. If reused, it will wear out small parts of the generator.
6. Check if the screws and bolts are loose. Tighten if necessary.
7. Use an oily cloth to clean the gasoline generator thoroughly. Apply an antiseptic if necessary. Do not use water to clean the generator.
