1. Oil and water are mixed, there is water in the engine oil, or the engine oil is of poor quality.
2. When it is found that water has entered the diesel generator, stop it immediately if the generator set is running. It is not allowed to start when stopped. .
3. Then support one side of the diesel generator with a hard object and lift it so that the oil drain part of the engine oil pan is in the lowest position. oil drain plug and remove the oil drain plug. Use the oil dipstick to allow any water in the oil pan to drain on its own. When the oil is about to drain, let the oil and water drain for a while, then tighten the oil drain plug.
4. Remove the air filter, replace the new filter element and soak it in oil.
5. Then remove thehe intake and exhaust pipes as well as the muffler, and remove the water in the pipes. Turn on the pressure relief, crank the diesel engine to generate electricity, and observe if water flows from the inlet and exhaust ports. If there is water drained, continue to rotate the crankshaft until all the water in the cylinder is drained. Install the intake and exhaust pipes and mufflers, add a little engine oil to the air inlet, crank the crankshaft a few times, then install the air filter.
6. Remove the fuel tank, drain all the oil and water in it, check if there is water in the fuel system fuel and drain it.
This is easy to manage if the diesel engine has not been started.
There is a drain valve at the bottom of the fuel tank. Open it to drain all the mixed oil in the tank, then close the drain valve, fill in the diesel and draingest it, then fill the diesel. At this time, there is very little engine oil in the tank and the engine can start.
Due to lubrication, the cylinder will also bring a small amount of oil from the oil pan to participate in combustion during operation, so diesel with very little oil can still work, but it will only cause black smoke. to be emitted through the exhaust. The fuel tank will return to normal after a few cycles.
