The timing belt is covered by a cover and is not visible at all. The timing belt will not slip. If it slips, the valve mechanism and valves will be completely destroyed.
The belt you see is the belt responsible for operating the water pump and generator, and may also carry the air conditioner's electromagnetic clutch.
When I first started the engine after cleaning it, it was shaking a bit. This may be due to the presence of moisture which has interfered with the engine's ignition circuit and caused a short circuit. which reduced the voltage and affected the normal operation of a certain cylinder. However, after a while the engine warmed up, the water evaporated, the voltage was appropriate, all cylinders worked normally, and the engine stopped shaking.
It is recommended not to enter the water.
Remarks
At present, alternators are widely used in cars. The following points should be considered when using them:
① Clean the scale frequently. the appearance of the generator and dust, keep clean and well ventilated.
② Frequently check the tightening conditions of the generator-related fasteners and tighten the screws in time.
③The tension of the drive belt should be appropriate. If it is too loose, it will slip easily and result in insufficient power production; if it is too tight, it will easily damage the belt and generator bearings.
④When installing the battery, be careful not to install it incorrectly. Usually, install the positive wire first and not the ground wire, otherwise the diode will burn out easily.
⑤ When using an integrated circuit regulator, the ignition switch should be immediately turned off when the wordeur does not turn.
⑥ It is never allowed to use the “scraping” method to test whether to produce electricity.
⑦ When the generator fails to generate electricity, it must be eliminated in time, otherwise it will cause more serious failure.
