Main uses
NBR
NBR
p>
It has good oil resistance and is compatible with most mineral oils and greases. But it is not suitable for phosphate ester series hydraulic oils and gear oils containing polar additives. It is not resistant to aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, amines and anti-natural HFD fluids.
-40~+120
Manufacture of O-rings, gaskets, etc. Suitable for general hydraulic oil, HFC brine and HFA oil-in-water emulsion, HFB, animal oil, vegetable oil, fuel oil, boiling water, sea water, resistant to A, B, propylene and butane.
Rubber-plastic composite
RP
The material has a modulus ofHigh elasticity and high strength. Other properties are the same as nitrile rubber.
-30~+120
Used to make O-rings, Y-rings, dust rings, etc. Used for sealing hydraulic systems of construction machinery.
Fluorinated rubber
FKM or FPM
Heat resistance, resistance to acids and alkalis and other chemicals. Oil resistant (including phosphate ester series hydraulic oil), suitable for all lubricants, gasoline, hydraulic oil, synthetic oil, etc. Resistant to HFD natural gas liquids, fuel oils, chain hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons and most mixtures of inorganic acids. But it is not resistant to ketones, amines, anhydrous ammonia and low molecular weight organic acids such as formic acid and aciof acetic.
-20~+200
It is characterized by resistance to high temperatures, bad weather, ozone and to chemicals, and almost all resistance Mineral and synthetic based hydraulic fluids. However, there are some limitations in steam, hot water or low temperature situations. Its low temperature performance is limited and its compatibility with steam and hot water is moderate. In this case, special fluorine rubber must be used. Flame retardant hydraulic oil sealing is widely used in metallurgy, electric power and other industries.
Silicone rubber
PMQ or MVQ
Good resistance to heat and cold, deformation permanent by compression Small, but low mechanical resistance, suitable only for static sealing.
-60~+230
Suitable for sealing food machines andelectronic products at high and low temperatures.
Polyacrylate rubber
ACM
Heat resistance is better than NBR and can be used in It works in various lubricating oils, hydraulic oils and petroleum-based hydraulic oils with polar additives and has low water resistance.
-20~+150
Used in various automobile oil seals and various gearboxes and transmissions, and can withstand medium and high temperatures.
Ethylene-propylene rubber
EPDM or EPM
Good weather resistance and water resistant Air aging, resistant to weak acids, resistant to freon and a variety of refrigerants, not suitable for mineral oil.
-55~+260
Widely used in the sealing of refrigerators and refrigeration machines. Steam resistant up to 200°C and high temperature gases up to 150°C.
Polytetrafluoroethylene
PTFE
Good chemical stability, resistance to heat and cold Good, Resistant to oil, water, gas, chemicals and other media. It has high mechanical strength, high pressure resistance, good wear resistance, extremely low friction coefficient and good self-lubricating properties. PTFE exhibits creep and flow phenomena when cold. Under the continuous action of a certain load, the deformation continues to increase over time (this phenomenon is closely related to temperature). Pure polytetrafluoroethylene generally cannot be used as a hydraulic sealing material. Only bronze powder and fiberglass fillers may be used. These fillers reduce the coefficient of thermal expansion, improve thermal conductivity, increase wear resistance andimprove resistance. Cold flow properties (creep). PTFE is not elastic, which is why it is always used with rubber elastomers, which provide the preload required to achieve a perfect seal.
-55~+260
Used to make sealing rings, wear-resistant rings, Guide rings (belts), and retaining rings, etc., are commonly used sealing materials in machinery. It is widely used in almost various industries such as metallurgy, petrochemical, engineering machinery and light industrial machinery.
Nylon
PA
Oil resistance, temperature resistance, good strength wear resistance, high compressive strength, good impact resistance, but poor dimensional stability.
-40~+120
Used to make guide rings, sleevese guide, support rings, pressure rings, retaining rings, etc. .
Polyoxymethylene
POM
Oil resistance, temperature resistance, good strength wear, resistance to pressure. has high strength, good impact resistance, good self-lubricating properties, good dimensional stability, but low flexibility.
-40~+140
Used to make guide rings, guide sleeves, support rings, pressure rings, retaining rings, etc. .
Neoprene
CR
Good resistance to aging and salt water.
-30~+160
Often used in the refrigeration industry (such as fluorine 12), applications exteriors and the adhesives industry.
Fluorosilicone rubberGlue
MFQ or FVMQ
Good resistance to high and low temperaturess.
-100~+350
Commonly used in occasions where oil resistance and flame resistance are required, as in aerospace.
Polyurethane
PU or AU
It has very good mechanical properties and low deformation in compression. High tensile strength, shear strength, extrusion strength and wear resistance are very high. In particular, the sealing effect of imported polyurethane used by our company far exceeds that of domestic products, and its performance and other aspects are almost indistinguishable from imported parts. Resistant to mineral oils and greases, HFA and HFB flame retardant fluids below +50°C. Not resistant to water, acids and alkalis above +50°C. The exception is polyurethane resistant to hydrolysis.
