The structure of the pump is relatively simple, but during disassembly and repair, attention should be paid to the differences in structural and technical requirements. General disassembly procedures and precautions are as follows:
(1) Use a puller to remove the fan pulley, fan pulley, fan pulley drive belt, nuts and the fixing washers, paying attention to the semi-circular key.
(2) Remove the pump cover mounting bolts, then remove the pump cover and gasket.
(3) Regarding the pressure exerted by the impeller on the pump shaft structure, use a puller to remove the impeller from the pump shaft. Use bolts to secure the impeller to the pump shaft structure. Tighten the bolts first, then use a puller to remove the wheel.
(4) Two ball bearings are useds to support the water pump shaft structure. The outer diameter of the bearing positioning clamp ring should be measured in advance. When the outer diameter is smaller than the water seal hole on the pump body, the impeller and water magnetic shaft can be pushed out from the pump cover side if the outer diameter of the ring d the stop is larger than the water seal hole; on the pump body, the puller can be used to remove it. The impeller is removed from the pump shaft. Integrated pump shaft and bearing structure are adopted. If a clamping ring is installed in the middle of the bearing, it must be supported in the center groove of the bearing shell before the pump shaft is extracted.
Detailed information:
1. Use graphite seal ring for water sealing, and use center rod for sealing.seal. The hydraulic seal is pushed to the side of the pump cover. Some water pumps for domestic automobile engines use a combined hydraulic seal. The water seal components are installed on the wheel and each component can be removed by removing the buckle.
2. The water pump assembly sequence should be opposite to the disassembly sequence. After assembly, turn the pulley by hand. The pulley should be flexible and not sticky; when shaking the pulley by hand, the pump shaft should not be too loose, finally check whether the drain port is open, inject an appropriate amount of liquid; designated grease in the nozzle. If conditions permit, after repairing the pump, the flow rate must be checked on the test bench.
