There may be many reasons why Chimelong Aquarium does not have killer whales. Killer whales are animals that live in the vast ocean and require rich habitats and large spaces. In captivity, killer whales may not have sufficient water depth, water quality, and space to move around, which can negatively impact their health and survival. Additionally, killer whales are social animals with complex social structures and stable family relationships, and it may be difficult for them to meet their social needs in captivity. Problems such as stress, depression, and immune system problems can occur frequently in captivity, which could pose a safety risk to their handlers.
Therefore, Chimelong Aquarium cannot exhibit killer whales for safety reasons.
