The good way to turn off underfloor heating in a wall installation. boiler: If you install underfloor heating in a single-family house, turn off the wall-mounted boiler directly, and the mode of operation is quite simple; in the north, heating of almost all houses is provided by the local government, and it is completely impossible for ordinary residentsto turn off the underfloor heating completely. But each house will be equipped with a set of valves for underfloor heating. As long as the main valve is turned clockwise, the underfloor heating can be turned off.
Before turning off the underfloor heating, it is best to check the pipe openings and the valves, because as soon as the weather gets hot, these two places will be affected, and it there is a high possibility of damage. In winter, underfloor heating should be used frequently, but the constant flow of hot water will cause many impurities to accumulate in the pipes. It is best to clean the underfloor heating pipes before you stop using the underfloor heating.
You also need to pay attention to maintenance when using underfloor heating. Underfloor heating depends on the flow of hot water through the pipes. After stopping the utinstallation, drain the water in the pipes, fill it with clean water, and heat it. Open the exhaust valve after about an hour to prevent the pipe from filling with gas and causing damage.
Precautions for using floor heating
1. Do not turn floor heating on and off frequently
If you only go out. for a short time you can adjust the interior setting. Lower the temperature, then raise it again when you get home. Make sure you do not turn the underfloor heating on and off frequently. Frequently turning on and off underfloor heating not only does not save money, but also tends to consume more energy.
2. Adjust the temperature reasonably
Do not adjust the temperature to the highest level all at once, otherwise it will have a certain impact on the functional system andwill easily damage the floor. Therefore, when you turn on the temperature for the first time, you need to heat it up step by step. It is recommended to set it at 18-22°C, then slowly adjust the temperature according to your own needs. But be careful that the surface temperature does not exceed 28 degrees so as not to affect the lifespan of the floor!
3. Check the water pressure before use
Before turning on the floor heating, be sure to confirm whether the pressure value of the water pressure gauge is around 2-2.5 bars. If it is less than 1 bar, it will affect the use effect. You should open the water tap to replenish the water and observe the pressure gauge within the recommended value range.
