Geothermal wells refer to methods and devices for generating electricity using geothermal energy or hot spring water with a water temperature above 30°C at a well depth of approximately 3,500 meters. Geothermal heat is divided into three categories: high temperature, medium. and low temperature. Above 150℃, it exists in the form of steam, which is high temperature geothermal; between 90℃ and 150℃, it exists in the form of a mixture of water and steam, which is a medium temperature geothermal energy; above 25℃ and below 90℃, it is in the form of warm water, warm water, etc. If it exists in the form of hot water or hot water, it belongs to low temperature geothermal heat. On March 12, 2010, a geothermal well was successfully drilled in Fengheying Village, Daxing District, Beijing. The measured temperature reached 103°C, breaking the record forgeothermal water temperature in Beijing, becoming the first medium-temperature geothermal well in Beijing.
Main uses
1. Most people think of hot spring baths first, and there is so much more to geothermal heat than just these uses. Geothermal energy is divided into three categories: high temperature, medium temperature and low temperature.
2. High temperature geothermal energy is suitable for electricity generation. Medium temperature geothermal energy can also be usedfor heating homes. Low temperature geothermal energy can be used for bathing, medical treatments, heating. greenhouse planting, aquaculture, etc.
3. First consider using it for electricity generation. Geothermal power plants using medium-temperature geothermal water as energy are not uncommon abroad. A unit using geothermal water at 72°C to produce electricity has been built in Alaska, United States. There is also a medium temperature power plant in Tengchong, Yunnan, China.
4. Geothermal wells can also be used for heating. In addition to being environmentally friendly and energy efficient, geothermal heating is technically simple and easy to implement, and has a wide range of temperature requirements. It can be used in a temperature range of 15°C to 180°C. Hot underground water at 103°C can bedirectly used for heating services without heating.
5. Geothermal energy must be used in a “cascading” manner, so that geothermal resources can be “fully utilized.” The first stage is used for heating, the second stage is sent to the hot source; fishing center to provide underfloor heating; The third stage is aquaculture, then it is conducted to the hot spring planting and picking base for planting and irrigating special vegetables, flowers and various fresh fruits, and then it is discharged into the lake hot ; spring park so that it does not freeze in winter and the green water is always clear.
