Smartphones use lithium batteries. Lithium batteries do not have a memory effect, so when a new cell phone is used for the first time, there is no need to activate it several times by charging and discharging it, just load it as you go.
1. Please pay attention to the following precautions during daily use:
1. Please use the official standard charger to charge the battery to ensure that the charging voltage is stable and meets the requirements. Standards to avoid affecting battery usage.
2. In theory, keeping battery power in an average range (e.g. 30% to 80%) is more conducive to extending battery life. Therefore:
(1) After. the mobile phone is fully charged. It is recommended to unplug the charger to avoid charging for a long time or being in ahigh power state for a long time in order to accelerate battery aging and prolong battery life.
(2) If the mobile phone is idle for a long time, it is recommended to turn it off and recharge it regularly to maintain about 50% power. If the mobile phone is not used or charged for a long time, the battery may trigger over-discharge protection, resulting in abnormal charging or charging failure.
3. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will affect the battery life of the mobile phone. Therefore:
(1) Please try to avoid using it. environments with low or high temperatures or large temperature differences.
(2) It is recommended to avoid charging and using it for a long time, especially in high-power operation scenariosthis (like watching videos, playing big games, etc.). discharging will accelerate the aging of the battery.
2. Extend battery life
1. Click Settings > Battery > Power saving mode to enable power saving mode.
2. Optimize power saving settings:
EMUI 10. For some features, you can manually choose to optimize.
EMUI 11.0 and Harmony OS: Go to the Phone Manager app, click One-Click Optimize, and optimize power saving settings based on the results.
The process of activating a lithium-ion battery that has not been used for a long time:
1: The lithium battery that has just been used has usually of the remaining energy, just like don't charge it yet. Put the battery into the product and use it normally until the power is so low that it cannot be turned onat all.
Second: For the first time, it is better to use the original charger and it is better to turn off the phone. Many people do not turn off the phone to charge out of convenience, which is not the case. Conducive to activating the capacity of the lithium battery. And we remind everyone that it should be charged continuously for more than 12 hours and less than 15 hours. If it says fully charged, don't unplug it and let it charge!
Three: After being fully charged for the first time, it will not light up if used normally. You can press process 2 again to continue!
Four: Fully discharge and fully charge (i.e. repeat process two and process three) three times. At this time, the battery is successfully activated and can reach the best capacity state.
Notes: Lithium batteries are oftenent activated when leaving the factory, so the buyer does not need to activate again. It is recommended not to use a universal charger during the activation period. If after reaching the normal use period, you cannot use the universal charger. Because the original charger is the most suitable. The universal charger has unstable current and does not necessarily match the voltage of the lithium battery, which may accelerate the aging of the lithium battery.
