Lithium batteries and lead-acid batteries are currently commonly used battery types for electric bicycles. They each have their own advantages and disadvantages, and which one is better depends on the needs of the user.
Advantages of lithium batteries: Lithium batteries have smaller size, lighter weight, higher energy density, longer life, higher performance, higher security and better usability. Lithium batteries can use fewer battery packs, smaller size, lower cost, less maintenance, higher reliability and higher feasibility.
Advantages of lead acid batteries: 1. Lead acid batteries are relatively cheap, inexpensive and much cheaper than lithium batteries. 2. Lead-acid batteries have good thermal stability and can withstand high temperatures.temperature changes and maintain good performance even at high temperatures.
Whether electric vehicles use lithium batteries or lead-acid batteries depends on many factors. From a performance perspective, lithium batteries have higher energy density and lighter weight. Lithium batteries are more expensive and require more complex charging equipment and higher charging voltages, which increase the cost of use and difficulty of charging. Although lead-acid batteries have lower energy density and heavier weight, they are relatively inexpensive and the equipment and charging methods are relatively simple.
