Requirements for lithium batteries and products containing lithium batteries
Lithium batteries are widely used and have the following characteristics:
Long service life

Slow power loss when not in use
Although batteries at lithium are useful, they can also be very dangerous. If damaged, dropped, short-circuited or crushed, lithium batteries can release large amounts of heat, causing danger and risk of burns. Lithium batteries are also very dangerous when heated. For these reasons, lithium batteries must still meet specific shipping requirements.

You will need to provide the following information pfor all batteries and products containing or sold with batteries:
Whether the product itself is a battery or if the product requires the use of a battery: If the product requires a battery, or if the product itself is a battery, please select "Yes". If the product requires a battery, please indicate the appropriate packaging form below:
If the product is a stand-alone battery (such as a replacement laptop battery) or is sold with a product that is not powered by (such as a charger (sold with the mobile phone backup battery), please choose a separate battery. External battery chargers (such as powerbanks) are batteries.
If the battery comes packaged with the device it powers, but is not assembled inside the device, select Battery packaged with device For example, a mobile phone delivered with a batteryremovable cover in the packaging.
If the battery is preinstalled or included with the product (such as a Kindle tablet), select Battery installed on device.
