Different definitions, different scopes, etc.
Different definitions: A wind-based platform refers to a platform that integrates multiple wind energy power generation projects, aiming to provide an overall solution for wind energy generation. Wind foundation refers to the infrastructure of wind energy power generation projects, including wind turbines, wind power towers, substations, etc.
Different scope: A wind-based platform is usually a large comprehensive platform covering multiple wind energy power generation projects and can manage and monitor the operation of these projects. Wind infrastructure refers to the infrastructure of a single wind energy generation project, usually a stand-alone project.
Needs handover. In wind power projects, anemometer towers are used to measure wind speed, direction and other meteorological parameters to assess the feasibility of wind resources. Data from wind towers need to be shared or transferred with the relevant meteorological bureau or meteorological department. This is to use meteorological data for sound wind resource analysis and wind power station operation management during the project assessment and planning stages, as well as during the operation stage.
