1. Align the crankshaft according to the mark on the crankshaft timing pulley. Generally, the top dead center position of the piston of cylinder 1 is required;
2. Align the camshaft with the mark on the camshaft timing pulley. , Align the positions of the two camshafts of the double camshaft respectively;
3. Install the timing belt/chain.
Only the camshaft gear is marked on the engine timing gear, and the other gears are unmarked. First, turn the engine so that cylinders 1 and 6 reach top dead center. Then assemble other gears except the camshaft gear. Check that there is a mark on the body, so that the mark of the camshaft gear coincides with this mark. Then rotate the engine so that it is about 22 degrees before top dead center, adjust the fuel injection pump so that it is in a state where oil has just come out of one cylinder, and tighten the screws, and that's it.
Go around clockwise, starting from the crankshaft wheel, then the tensioner wheel - generator - power steering - idler pulley - air conditioning pump. The air conditioning pump and the crankshaft are put on the idler pulley, and the crankshaft and the generator are hung on the tensioner.

Since the engine belt is an important part of the engine, in order to avoid engine problems, the 4S store will require that it is best to replace the timing belt after driving about 60,000 kilometers. If it is a new car, the timing belt must be replaced. The belt generally runs 80,000-100,000 kilometers. After replacing the timing belt, due to the depreciation, use, installation and other problems of the car, the service life of the timing belt will be reduced accordingly. In order to ensure the service life of the engine, it is recommended that the timing belt must be replaced every one and a half to two years. , or when driving about 60,000 kilometers, you need to replace the timing belt.
Once the timing belt breaks, the camshaft valve sequence will not operate according to the timing. At this time, it is very likely to cause the valve and piston to collide and cause serious damage to the engine, so the timing belt must be in accordance with the timing. Replace it within the mileage or time specified by the original factory, otherwise the consequences will be very serious.
