Shandong Zhongtai New Energy Group recently became the first customer of Dalian Heavy Industry’s 50-megawatt wind power equipment products and will invest 750 million yuan to build the world’s first 50-megawatt wind turbine in Inner Mongolia. However, the maximum power of a single wind turbine currently put into industrial operation worldwide is only 6 MW. The 50-megawatt wind power equipment successfully developed by Dalian Heavy Industry has a single unit power equivalent to the installed capacity of an ordinary wind farm. It also has many advantages such as high efficiency, low investment intensity, and easy maintenance.
