1. Huadian International Laizhou Power Plant is located in Jincheng Town, north of Laizhou City, Shandong Province, on the edge of Laizhou Bay. The power plant is 27 kilometers south of Laizhou city center.
This first ecological power plant in China has a planned investment of RMB 10 billion in the first phase and a total investment of RMB 20 billion. At 19:38 on November 4, 2012, with the completion of the 168-hour full-load trial operation , China's first intelligent ecological power plant was officially put into operation in Laizhou, Shandong. The first production unit of Huadian Laizhou Power Generation Co., Ltd. has an installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts, and the two units in the first phase of the project have an annual power generation capacity of 11 billion kilowatt hours. The commissioning of this project will effectively fill the power gap along China's eastern coast.
2. Centennial Electric Power (Longkou Power Plant), an enterprise owned by Shandong Province. Although there are many power plants in Longkou, they are all enterprise-owned power plants. However, Nanshan and Donghai power plants are also large in scale, but they are privately-owned power plants in Bijing. Centennial Electric Power (Longkou Power Plant) is located in Xicheng District, Longkou City, on the west coast, adjacent to the 961st Army (Marine Corps) station in the east and the Dawn Lake Hotel. To the west is the largest local port in Shandong Province: Longkou Port Authority and a state-owned enterprise: Shengli Port Shallow Sea Oil Field Base. To the south is the largest electric fan production base in northern Shandong: Jinlong Electrical Appliances Factory. To the north is Longgang North Station, Longkou Railway Station of Dalailong Railway.
3. Yantai Power Plant (Huaneng Yantai Power Generation Co., Ltd.) is a large-scale combined heat and power enterprise founded in 1913. It is located at the junction of Zhifu District, Fushan District and Development Zone in Yantai, facing Fenghuangtai Community to the east, Zhichu Overpass to the north, and Zhichu Village to the west. It has convenient transportation and a superior geographical location. It has a total installed capacity of 800,000 kilowatts and more than 1,400 employees, responsible for generating electricity and heating. With the purpose of effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the employees, the factory actively participated in the creation activity of "Creating Harmonious Labor Relations in Ten Thousand Enterprises" launched by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and achieved remarkable results. It has successively won the titles of “National Model Workers’ Home” and “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization” of Shandong Province.
4. Huadian Laizhou Wind Power Co., Ltd. is wholly owned by Huadian International Power Co., Ltd. The first phase of the Jincheng Wind Farm project is located in Jincheng Town, Laizhou City. The project was approved by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission on March 22, 2011. Approved, the total investment is 453 million yuan, the installed capacity is 48MW, and 24 2000KW wind turbines are installed.
