1. The generator box must have reliable protective earthing. For generators requiring a neutral point to be directly grounded, neutral grounding should be done by professionals and equipped with lightning protection devices.
2. It is strictly prohibited to use the mains grounding device to directly ground the neutral point.
3. The two-way switch with the mains must be very reliable to prevent reverse power transmission. The reliability of the two-way switch wiring must be inspected and approved by the local power supply department.
1. The installation location of the diesel generator set should be well ventilated. There should be sufficient air inlets at the generator end and good air outlets at the diesel engine end. The air outlet area should be more than 1.5 times largers larger than the water tank area.
2. Older diesel generators must use concrete as a foundation. During installation, a level ruler should be used to measure flatness to ensure the unit is secured to a level foundation. There must be special anti-vibration pads or anchor bolts between the unit and the foundation.
3. Modern diesel generators do not need concrete as a foundation because modern diesel generators have been improved. The floor of the entire unit is flat and equipped with shock absorbers, which is very practical.
