Repair methods for engine cylinder failure in diesel generator sets:
1. The noise of the diesel engine cylinder at the initial stage is not very clear, but the oil rushes into the combustion chamber, causing carbon deposits to increase. Gas escapes into the crankcase during compression, causing engine oil to deteriorate. When accelerating, oil flows from the oil filler port and crankcase ventilation pipe. At this point, it can be diagnosed as an initial cylinder pull. At this point, the piston and connecting rod group should be cleaned and inspected, the engine oil and oil filter element should be replaced, and the oil pan should be cleaned. After reassembly and break-in, it can be used for a while. The tightness of the cylinder will be improved, but the power will not be as good as before the cylinder was fired.
2. The wordur diesel in the middle of the cylinder cycle has serious air leakage, and the abnormal cylinder knock-like sound is relatively clear. When the oil filler cap is opened, a large amount of oil smoke. comes out rhythmically and the exhaust emits thick blue smoke. At the same time, the idle speed is poor. When the oil cut-off method is used to check, the abnormal noise is reduced. If the mid-stroke cylinder pull occurs in multiple cylinders, the abnormal noise can be alleviated but cannot disappear when inspected by oil cut-off method. For drawing the cylinder halfway, if the drawing marks on the cylinder wall are not deep, they can be polished with a whetstone and replaced with a piston of the same model and quality and rings piston of the same specifications, and the abnormal noise will be greatly reduced.
3. At a stade later, obvious knocking and air blowing noises are heard when the cylinder is pulled, and the power performance is also greatly reduced. When the speed increases, the sound also increases, the sound is garbled, and the diesel engine vibrates. In severe cases, the piston may be broken in the cylinder or the cylinder may be damaged. In this condition, the cylinder liner, piston and piston rings must be replaced.
