Instructions for Using Small Gasoline Generators (Provided by Kaima Generator)

1 Safety Precautions

Danger: The exhaust gases from this machine are toxic. closed environment. This generator is used in various places. Exhaust from this generator can cause confusion and death in a short time. Please use in a well-ventilated area.

Danger: The fuel contained in this machine is extremely flammable and toxic.

1. Be sure to turn off the generator when refueling.

2. Never smoke while refueling or refuel near a flame.

3. Be careful not to overflow or spill fuel on the engine and *** when refueling.

4. If you swallow gasoline, inhale fuel vapors, or let it get into your eyes, seek medical attention immediately.

5. Please keep the generator upright whenoperation or movement. If the generator is tilted, there is a risk of leaking from the carburetor and mailbox.

Caution: the motor and battery will heat up

1. Please place this generator out of reach of passers-by and children.

2. Never place flammable objects near the exhaust port when the generator is running.

3. The distance between the generator and buildings or other devices must be kept at least 1 meter, otherwise the generator will overheat.

4. Do not cover the dust cover when the generator is running.

Danger: avoid electric shock

1. Do not use this generator in rain or snow

2. Do not touch this generator with wet hands, as it may cause a risk of electric shock.

Note: Be sure to connect the ground wire. Use 4mm2 or larger wire for the ground wire.

Danger: Wiring Precautions

1. It is prohibited to connect this generator to a commercial electrical outlet.

2. It is prohibited to connect this generator to other generators.

3. To switch between mains, power generation and load, interlocking switches must be used for the connection.

2. Preparation and inspection before use

1. Fuel: (Fuel tank capacity is 21 L)

Must use gasoline (unleaded) 90# or higher.

Remove the fuel tank cap (turn it counterclockwise), add fuel and observe the fuel level gauge on the fuel tank at all times. Do not remove the fuel filter from the filler port when refueling. (When refueling, stop the engine and pay close attention to surrounding fireworks)

Note:

It is prohibited to add fuelfuel in the fuel tank when the engine is running or has not cooled down. Before doing this, the fuel line switch must be turned off.

Care must be taken not to allow dust, dirt, moisture and other external impurities to mix with gasoline. If gasoline is spilled, wipe it up before starting the engine.

2. Engine oil: (approximately 1.8L required)

(1) Engine oil quality standards, please choose products of SJ or SG level or above, model 15W-30.

(2) Remove the dipstick and check the engine oil level. The oil level should be between the dipstick grids, and the best condition is above the middle.

(3) When filling the engine oil, remove the gray oil filler cap by turning it counterclockwise and inject the engine oil. Check again after a minute to see if the engine oil level is appropriate.

(4) There is an oil pressure sensor in the engine. If there is not enough oil, the generator will not start normally. If there is too much oil, the generator

will run. doesn't work properly either. Please drain the excess oil through the oil drain fitting.

Warning:

The generator is not filled with engine oil when it leaves the factory. Engine oil must be filled before use.

3. Starting battery: (equipped with electric start models)

(1) Connect the red wire to the positive pole of the starting battery and the green wire to the negative pole of the starting battery, and tighten them terminals. to establish good contact

OK.

(2) When connecting the battery cable, be careful not to short circuit the battery due to the tools used.

Warning: Do not unplug the power cord while the generator is running or connect the polepositive of the battery cable to the negative pole, otherwise the coil of the charging cable

will be damaged.

Caution: The electrolyte is toxic and very dangerous. This can lead to the risk of accidents such as burns. Because it contains sulfuric acid, please avoid contact with your skin, eyes and clothing.

Treatment:

External: Clean with water.

Internal: drink plenty of water and milk. And seek medical attention immediately.

Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes and consult a doctor.

The battery can produce explosive gases. Please keep it away from lightning, flames and cigarettes. Please ensure ventilation when using or loading in a narrow place. Please protect your eyes when approaching the battery. Keep batteries out of reach of children.

3. Generator Operation

Warning:

Before startingWhen turning on the generator, be sure to set the AC output switch to the (OFF) position (switch down). Otherwise, the generator will be damaged (cannot be started directly with load)

(1) Turn on the fuel switch. (In "ON" position)

(2) Gently remove the shock absorber with your fingers.

(3) For manual start models, first pull the recoil starter slowly until it clicks into place, then pull hard.

(4) For electric start models, set the start switch to the ON position and turn the start switch to the START position for 10 seconds if starting fails, wait; for ten seconds. Then start again until the boot is successful.

(5) Once the generator has successfully started, push the damper back in by hand. When cold, push the damper back gradually.

Note:

(1) When a unitnewly purchased is used for the first time, it needs to be started repeatedly 2-3 times before it can start successfully.

(2) For electric start models, if starting by hand, the start key must be placed in the ON position.

(3) For electric start models, the interval between starts should be more than ten seconds, otherwise it is easy to cause excessive battery discharge or damage to the starter due to from overheating. If startup fails five times, check if the unit is defective.

2. Generator output (with load)

(1) After the generator is started at normal temperature, it should run for 1-2 minutes to preheat. When it is cold, the preheating time should be extended. 3 to 5 minutes. If the load is applied immediately after starting, the generator may stop abruptly.

(2) If a load is connected,The load must be properly connected to the generator output terminal before starting the generator. After preheating, turn on the output switch.

Warning:

(1) The generator cannot be overloaded, and long-term operation with load should not exceed 80% of the rated power.

(2) For three-phase models, the three loads should be balanced, and the difference between each phase should not exceed 30%, otherwise the generator will be easily damaged.

(3) The diameter of the cable connecting the generator and the load must comply with the relevant national technical specifications (1 mm2/4A).

(4) To avoid personal injury or death, the operation must be carried out by professional technicians.

(5) The generator should be maintained by dedicated personnel when it is operating, and the voltage and current of the generator should be observed regularly. In the event of an anomaly, please stop the machine immediately for inspection.

(6) During generator operation, the valve and exhaust pipe will be very hot and must not be touched, otherwise it may cause serious burns.

3. Generator Shutdown

(1) Turn off the load first, then unplug the generator output switch.

(2) After running without load for 2-3 minutes, turn off the start switch to the STOP position.

(3) Turn the fuel switch to the STOP position.

Note:

If the generator will not be used for a long time, please use the following method to stop the generator:

(1) All d First turn the fuel OFF.

(2) Let the generator continue to run until the fuel runs out and it automatically shuts down.

(3) After stopping, turn the start switch to the STOP position.

MethShutdown code above can prevent the residual fuel in the carburetor from deteriorating due to long-term use and carburetor fouling, preventing the generator from starting.

Caution:

When the generator is not in use, the start key switch must be placed in the STOP position. If it is in the ON position, the battery will shut down. If the battery valve is energized for a long time, the starting battery will be exhausted and the generator will not be able to restart.
