1. First check the tightness of the connections related to the carburetor to ensure that the carburetor has normal suction and that there are no air leaks or suction blockages.
2. Remove the carburetor. Turn the mixture ratio screw clockwise. the end, then turn it counterclockwise 1.5 turns.
3. Start the engine and allow it to warm up for 10 minutes to allow the engine to reach its normal operating temperature.
4. Adjust the carburetor idle speed adjustment screw so that the engine speed is lowest and the engine does not stall.
5. Repeatedly adjust the carburetor mixture ratio screw left and right to achieve the highest engine speed. During this process, some friends will find that after the mixing ratio screw is adjusted to a certain position, then the mixing ratio screwWhen turned counterclockwise, the idle speed will not change. At this time, the mixing ratio screw can be held at. the moment when the idle speed has just been set to maximum.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 several times to idle the engine.
7. Quickly twist the throttle grip, refuel, then release the throttle. During this process, observe whether the engine accelerates and decelerates smoothly. If it is stable, the adjustment is successful. not smooth, repeat 4 to operate in 6 steps until the motor accelerates and decelerates smoothly.
8. When the engine is idling, it should be maintained for 5 minutes without stalling. After adjusting the idle speed, some vehicles may have a very low idle speed. be slightly increased and maintained at approximately 1000-1500 rpm/minutes, because the idle speed is too low, the engine may stallr when driving at high speed when the accelerator is released at idle. The reason is that the air pressure at idle level. Air inlet decreases at high speed, which affects the fuel supply to the carburetor idle hole.
9. During the idle speed adjustment process, if there is an explosion in the exhaust pipe when refueling 9, the mixture is usually too rich. You can turn the carburetor mixture ratio screw counterclockwise. If you are refueling urgently. , If there is a flameout or misfire, the mixture is usually too thin. You can turn the carburetor mixture ratio screw clockwise. Once the carburetor is adjusted, you can take a test drive of approximately 1.5 kilometers. Once the test drive is complete, remove the spark plug and observe the color of the ceramic sous the center electrode of the spark plug. If it is brick red, that's normal. If it is white, the mixture is uneven. If it turns black, the mixture is rich.
Rich setting method:
Start the generator and slowly. adjust until the engine speed no longer increases. At this time, the air-fuel ratio coefficient is about 0.8 to 0.9. Then adjust it a little leaner, and the air-fuel ratio will be between 0.9 and 1.0. the optimal value of 1.0, you should continue to lean and smell the exhaust until there is not much gasoline smell, the mixture ratio is close to the air-to-air ratio. theoretical fuel at this time and the fuel consumption rate is relatively lowest.
There is another indicator, which is startup performance.
After adjusting the above position, turn off the engine and restart. If the startup is good, it is not necessaryand to do it. adjust it again. If the starting performance is not good, OK, or it does not start, then you need to add more focus until the starting performance is acceptable.
In this way, it is adjusted to the best position
