Dawu County, affiliated to Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, is located on the border of Hubei and Henan in the northeastern part of Hubei Province and in the southwest section of the Dabie Mountains. It is located between 114°3′-114°35′ east longitude and 31°18′-31°50′ north latitude. It is 48 kilometers wide from east to west and about 55 kilometers long from north to south.
