FprEN ISO 6183:2010 (E) 3 Foreword The text of ISO 6183:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 21 “Equipment for fire protection and fire fighting” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as FprEN ISO 6183:2010 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 191 “Fixed firefighting systems”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This document is currently submitted to the Unique Acceptance Procedure. This document will supersede EN 25923:1993. This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s). Endorsement notice The text of ISO 6183:2009 has been approved by CEN as a FprEN ISO 6183:2010 without any modification.
