Step one: generator. First we need to buy a small generator. A power of 200w is enough. If it is larger, our small wind wheel will not be able to drive it.
Step 2: Make the blades. Choose an ABS plastic pipe (not too thick or too thin, 50-100mm diameter is enough.) Cut it in the middle, then cut it into a fan page shape. Remove the burrs from the fan and smooth the fan blades with fine sandpaper.
Step 3: Make the roulette wheel. Choose a round piece of metal or an axle (note that the metal piece should be slightly thicker.) Drill two holes side by side on it. Then simply polish the edges of the sheet metal.
Step 4: Splicing. Secure the wheel plate and blades we made with bolts. Pay attention to the direction of the blades and never install them upside down. This will cause the wheel to reverse and affect power generation.ity. Once the fixing is complete, cover the wheel with a plastic cover to prevent it from rusting.
Step 5: Assembly. Find a piece of wood or iron, fix the generator on it, then install a speed multiplier between the generator shaft and the wind turbine shaft, and finally connect the two.
