You can also disassemble the motor of the electric toy car, connect a small light bulb to the positive and negative terminals of the motor, then turn the motor rotor hard, you will find that the llight Turn on.
If you are making a small generator (providing a set of small LED lights), I suggest using a DC motor fan motor, as it is simpler (the direction of the generated current does not will not change).
But to make a motor, you need power to turn the generator, so you have to find another motor or machine to drive the generator, so it's quite inconvenient. You might as well find a transformer to convert the 220V AC current to the LED's rated voltage.
