The planned capacity of plot 5# is 50 MW, with 20 wind turbines of 2.5 MW. turbines. The project is located in Zongjia Town, Dulan County, Haiyang Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, on the north and south sides of the G109 national highway. Parcels 1#, 2#, 3# and 4# are approximately 90 km from Golmud City, and Parcel 5# is approximately 125 km from Golmud City. Transportation is relatively convenient. The altitude is included inbe 2785m and 3000m.
The relief of the site area is an alluvial plain with a Piedmontese slope. The area is higher in the south and lower in the north. The landform type is desert sand and the terrain is open and flat. The multi-year average temperature is 5.3℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 35.4℃, the extreme minimum temperature is -27.2℃, the annual average precipitation is 16.7mm~487.7mm and the annual average evaporation is 1353.9mm ~ 3526.1mm.
It is a continental climate typical of the Plateau. The weather station's multi-year average wind speed is 2.87 m/s, and the maximum wind speed is 28 m/s. The average annual wind speed at a height of 90 m in the site area is approximately 6.4-7.0 m/s. The climate is unique, with strong solar radiation, a large temperature difference between day and night, year-round drought, wind and little rain, and preparationregional ion to earthquakes of intensity VIII.
The installed capacity of this section is 350 MW, and a total of 140 wind turbine units with a single capacity of 2.5 MW produced by Sany Heavy Energy are installed, with a wheel diameter of 141 mr. The tower is divided into four sections, with a total height of 90 m and a total weight of 166.102 t. The tower foundation adopts anchor bolt assembly type.
