The main reasons that cause the diesel generator set temperature to be too high are:
1. The diesel engine uses hard water for a long time, and a large amount of scale forms in the water tank and water channels, resulting in poor heat dissipation.
2. There are too many impurities deposited in the water channels between the body and the cylinder head, causing water circulation to be blocked and causing poor heat dissipation.
3. Seriously burning engine oil, causing excessive carbon deposits and poor heat dissipation.
4. Improper operation and use. When starting the diesel engine, you should first use a small or medium throttle to preheat for a period of time. Do not suddenly increase the throttle or suddenly increase the load. Otherwise, the diesel engine will work roughly and the temperature will increase sharply. Or the long-term overload operation of the diesel engine will also cause the diesel engine temperature to be too high.
5. Too late fuel supply time causes the diesel engine to overheat.
6. Put into full load operation immediately after repair, causing the moving parts to overheat, or get stuck due to too small fitting clearance.
7. Insufficient cooling water causes the diesel engine to overheat.
If the temperature of the diesel engine of the diesel generator set is too high, it will lead to a reduction in the matching clearance, strength, and poor lubrication of the moving parts. In severe cases, it may cause cylinder pulling and shaft holding accidents. Therefore, when the temperature of the diesel generator set is too high, It must be repaired in time.
