When installing the timing chain on the GY6 scooter, the T mark of the magneto should be aligned with the raised position of the engine body. The specific steps for aligning the GY6 engine are as follows:
1. Turn the generator rotor by hand.
2. Align the T mark on the rotor with the bulge on the engine body.
3. Pick up the camshaft, the two small holes are parallel to the lever head, and the big hole is facing the front of the engine.
4. Put the engine timing chain on the camshaft.
5. Make sure the two small holes are parallel to the head of the rod and you are done. ?
The direct cause of motor burnout is high temperature.
Common faults of electric motors are divided into two categories: mechanical faults and electrical faults. Electrical faults include: short circuit, open circuit of the stator and rotor windings, and starting equipment failure; mechanical faults include: excessive vibration, bearing overheating, The stator and rotor rub against each other and produce abnormal noise.
The reasons why the motor temperature is too high
1. Reasons inside the motor itself
(1) When installing and repairing the motor, the △-shaped connection is mistakenly connected The motor windings are connected in a Y-shaped connection, or the Y-shaped connection is mistakenly connected in a △ shape. (2) The winding phases or turns are short-circuited or grounded, causing the winding current to increase and the three-phase current to be unbalanced, causing the motor to overheat. (3) The pole phase group coils are connected incorrectly or the number of coils in each phase is unevenly distributed, causing the three-phase no-load current to be unbalanced and the current is too large; the three-phase current is seriously unbalanced when the motor is running, causing noise and vibration, and the motor overheats . (4) The stator and rotor generate friction and heat. (5) The cage rotor guide bar of the asynchronous motor is broken, or the wound rotor winding is disconnected. The motor has insufficient output and overheats. (6) Motor bearings are overheated.
2. Reasons related to motor load
(1) The motor runs overloaded for a long time, the stator current greatly exceeds the rated current, and the motor overheats. (2) Frequent starting of the motor, too long starting time or too short starting interval will cause the motor temperature to rise too high. (3) The mechanical failure of the towed machine causes the motor output to increase, or it is stuck and does not rotate, or the speed drops sharply, causing the motor current to surge and overheat. (4) The working system of the motor does not match the working system of the load. For example, a motor with a short-term cycle working system is used to drive a load that works continuously for a long time.
3. Reasons related to environment and ventilation and heat dissipation (1) The working environment and ventilation of the motor are too high, and the motor does not get good ventilation and heat dissipation and overheats. (2) There is too much dust and grease in the motor, which is not conducive to the heat dissipation of the motor. (3) The windshield or windshield inside the motor is not installed, resulting in poor air path and poor heat dissipation of the motor. (4) The fan is damaged, deformed, loose, or not installed or installed backwards, resulting in poor ventilation and heat dissipation of the motor. (5) There are too many defects in the heat dissipation ribs of the enclosed motor casing and the heat dissipation area is reduced; or the protective motor fan is blocked, which will cause poor ventilation and heat dissipation of the motor and excessive temperature rise.
