Wind power station in Panxian Poshang Grassland Scenic Area

The Sige Wind Farm is located in the grassland pasture on the slope of Sige Township, Pan County, Liupanshui City. It is known as the "big wind outlet" and "small grassland". After the wind measurement, bidding and preliminary demonstration some time ago, on-site road construction, boosting earth and stone engineering construction and the foundation construction of four wind turbines 16#-19# are now being carried out intensively. The foundation construction of 16# and 17# wind turbines is under way. After digging to the design elevation, concrete has been burned into the fan foundation. The wind farm has a total installed capacity of 125MW and a total planned investment of 530 million yuan. On August 14, 2011, Zhu Shaolun, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, led a research team of the Financial and Economic Committee of the Municipal People's Congress to inspect the Sige Wind Power Construction Project in Pan County. Relevant responsible persons from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Municipal Finance Bureau accompanied the inspection. The inspection team believes that the start of construction of the wind power project on the slopes of Sige Township, Panxian County will play a demonstration and leading role in the development and utilization of new clean energy and optimize the energy structure of our city. It will also add a unique landscape to enrich the tourism resources of Liupanshui. This wind power project is not only a clean energy project in Liupanshui, but also a project with a large installed wind power capacity in the province. It is hoped that the construction unit will ensure the progress and quality of the project, work quickly, construct safely, and put it into operation on time. It is recommended that the Pan County government and relevant towns and villages should pay more attention and help, provide more convenience, effectively solve the difficulties and problems during construction, strive to create a good environment for the smooth implementation and operation of the project, and combine the construction of wind power projects with tourism development.
