The tower of this equipment should reach a height of about 80 meters, mainly to better capture wind energy.
On the ground, the wind speed is slower and the direction is unstable due to reasons such as flow around and ground roughness. Once it exceeds the ground level, you can get a more stable wind flow and the wind speed will be faster. The taller the tower, the more wind energy can be captured and the higher the power generation efficiency.
The height of the tower is also affected by factors such as terrain height, wind direction, blade length, and power transmission distance.
This value does not have a fixed value and is mainly related to two factors:
1. The output power of the wind turbine. The greater the output power, the higher its height. The hub height of 1500KW wind turbines is 70m, which is the most common.
2. It is related to the local wind resource parameters. Generally speaking, the higher the altitude, the better the wind resource parameters. The specific height will only be determined after economic demonstration.
