My hometown is Cixi, known as “Cixiao Hometown”. A splendid coastal city, it has many specialties, such as: Sanbei bean curd candy, Xinpu grapes, Yokogawa Bay and the unique crafts of golden straw hats. And our village is located in Xinpu Town, a small town in Jiangnan. There are golden autumn grapes and characteristic industrial "small household appliances".
Our predecessors told me that our old hometown was very backward and we all depended on sea fishing for a living. However, with the development of industry and the hard work of people in my hometown, earth-shaking changes have occurred in my hometown. The muddy roads of previous villages have been replaced by three vertical and four horizontal roads. With the opening of the Hangzhou Bay Sea Bridge, our place is full of perpeople and vehicles, and many new businesses have been built on both sides of the road, especially the Hangzhou Bay New District, which is a thriving scene! I'm proud to have grown up here.
Among them, the most laudable is that we have one of the eight major saltwater wetlands in China: Hangzhou Bay Wetland.
Wetlands are known as the “kidneys of the earth”. The Hangzhou Bay Wetland is located near the Hangzhou Bay Sea Bridge, and its geographical location is particularly important. It is not only a tourist resource, but also a powerful ecological purification system. Hangzhou Bay Wetland has a diverse and unique ecosystem, which plays an important role in maintaining ecological balance, protecting biodiversity, and protecting valuable species resources! This can also consistworm water sources, regulate the climate and improve air pollution, which is crucial for our planet!
Bird watching areas have been established at many locations throughout this wetland, which is the wetland's largest feature. Special birds migrate to this wetland in April. For example, green-winged ducks, spot-billed ducks and white-browed ducks come here to breed and breed. Different birds come here every season. I heard there are hundreds of species... There are also many aquatic plants here. For example, water lilies, green algae and other phytoplankton add a lot of scenery to the wetland lake. Pieces of reeds wave in the wind, while numerous schools of fish swim below. Various trees and shrubs grow among the wetland forests. The forested islands are connected by swater systems. Spring flowers and autumn leaves form a series of very beautiful forest paintings! In addition, many large-scale wind power plants have been built here, adding atmosphere to the concept of low carbon and environmental protection. Let's protect the environment and learn about birds!
Our hometown also has many unique attractions, such as Dapeng Mountain, Wulei Temple, Hangzhou Bay Amusement Park and the historical relics of Shanglin Lake Yue Kiln. I love my hometown and hope to make my hometown's trees greener, the sky bluer, and the water clearer! Let’s work hard and study diligently! Make your hometown more perfect!
