It should be called Qiaosi Village. Later it was convenient to register the current name. The origin of the name of this village is explained as follows:
Qiaosi Village, Hengshui Town, Jiangxian County, Yuncheng Town, Shanxi Province, is located in Zhongtiao Mountain. At the foot of the Sushui River, to the south of the village are the endless Zhongtiao Mountains, and to the east and north of the village are the Sushui River. The Sushui River turned into a hook shape at the edge of the village, then flowed west along the way. As the village is surrounded by water on three sides and has a mountain on one side, villagers can only cross the water via bridges to enter and exit. The Sushui River beach is close to the village and the villagers dug canals to divert the water. There is a large area of lotus fields between the river beach and the cultivation fields. In the past there were more than one douzine large and small temples in the village, including the Fire Temple, the Dragon King Temple, etc. These place names are still preserved today. Since there are bridges and temples in the village, it was later. named Qiaosi village.
