1. A motor with a rated voltage of 220V uses a single-phase power supply consisting of a live wire and a neutral wire, and the voltage is 220V.
2. Single-phase 220 V series excitation motors, single-phase 220 V shunt motors, single-phase 220 V motors with oscillating springs, single-phase permanent magnet motors, etc. All have two conductor wires and can be directly connected to the 220 V single-phase power supply.
3. There are two output methods for 220V single-phase capacitor motors: ①. Three wires are connected to the common end and to the other wire of the main winding, as well as to the other wire. is connected to the common end; ②. 220 V single-phase motor with four conductor wires. The connection method is the same as above.
The difference between 220V and 380V motors: In China, it is the difference between single-phase motors and three-phase motors.
Single-phase motor:generally refers to a small-power single-phase asynchronous motor powered by a single-phase AC power supply (AC220V). This type of motor usually has two-phase windings on the stator and a common squirrel cage rotor. The distribution of the two-phase windings on the stator and the difference in power supply can produce different starting characteristics and operating characteristics.
Three-phase motor: means that when the three-phase stator winding of the motor (each phase difference is an electrical angle of 120 degrees), when three-phase alternating current is supplied, a rotating magnetic field will be generated , and the rotating magnetic field will cut off the rotor winding, thus an induced current is produced in the rotor winding (the rotor winding is a closed path).
