The diesel generator's radiator or expansion tank has serious water and steam leaks. This phenomenon is generally caused by damage to the cylinder seal near the cylinder water jacket hole, causing the combustion chamber to communicate with the water channel. When the piston moves upward for compression or combustion, the high pressure gas in the cylinder rushes into the water channel from the damaged area of the cylinder seal, causing a large amount of steam to overflow from the overflow pipe to the water fill cover and the breather valve. In severe cases, water will be sucked in with the intake stroke cylinder, causing the engine to shut down. Of course, the coolant will decrease accordingly.
Cause of failure:
① The cylinder head is uneven, the tightening torque of the cylinder head bolts is insufficient, or the bolts used have been worn outnged and deformed and failed to compress the cylinder seal.
② There are blisters, cavitation and other defects in the water channel adjacent to the cylinder block or cylinder head and combustion chamber, causing transparency.
③ When the temperature is too high, cold water is suddenly added to cause cracks in the water passages of the cylinder block or cylinder head, causing high pressure gas to leak in water passages.

1 When water is found to have penetrated into the diesel generator, yes. the generator set is running Stop it immediately and it is not allowed to turn it on in the stopped state.
2. Then support one side of the diesel generator with a hard object and lift it so that the oil drain part of the engine oil pan is in the lowest position, remove the oil drain plug. oil dipstick and make the oil bottom. The water inside the hull drains out by itself. When the oil is about to drain, let the oil and water drain for a while, then tighten the oil drain plug.
3. Remove the air filter, replace the new filter element and soak it in oil.
4. Remove the intake and exhaust pipes and muffler, and remove any water from the pipes. Turn on the pressure relief, crank the diesel engine to generate electricity, and observe if water flows from the inlet and exhaust ports. If there is water drained, continue to rotate the crankshaft until all the water in the cylinder is drained. Install the intake and exhaust pipes and mufflers, add a little engine oil to the air inlet, crank the crankshaft a few times, then install the air filter.
5. Remove the AC tankfuel, drain all oil and water from it, check for water in the fuel system and drain it.
6. Release the waste water into the water tank and water channels, clean the water channels and add clean river water or boiled well water until the water float mounted. Turn on the throttle switch and start the diesel engine. After starting the diesel engine, pay attention to the engine oil indicator rising and listen for any abnormal noise coming from the diesel engine. After checking whether all parts are normal, run the diesel engine. The operating sequence is first at idle, then medium speed, then high speed. The running time is 5 minutes each. After break-in, stop the engine and drain the engine oil. Add new engine oil again, start the diesel engine and run it at medium speed for 5 minutes, thenif it can be used normally.
7. Disassemble the generator, check the stator and rotor inside the generator, then dry them before assembly.
