Generators are electrical products and their insulation performance compared to water is very important. Usually, not to mention using a water gun to spray, it is not allowed to work in a humid environment.
In order to enable generators to operate in different harsh environments, the International Electrotechnical Commission has formulated protection level specifications for electrical products. The protection level of the product, such as IPxx, will be mandatory on the product nameplate of the generator.
IPxx protection level, where xx represents two digits. The numbers on the left and right represent the dust protection level and waterproof level, respectively.
