Under normal circumstances, we will take good care of the equipment when using it, but if water accidentally enters the diesel generator set due to poor maintenance, what should we do to ensure the normal operation of the equipment?
1. The diesel generator cannot be started immediately after water enters. Rinse the surface of the diesel engine with water, remove dirt and debris, then remove oil stains on the surface.
2. Support one end of the generator so that the oil drain portion of the engine oil pan is in the lowest position. Unscrew the oil drain plug and remove the oil dipstick to allow water to enter the oil. pan drains by itself.
3. Remove the intake and exhaust pipes as well as the muffler, and remove the internal water. Turn on the pressure reduction and start the diesel engine toir if water is leaking from the inlet and exhaust ports. If there is water drained, continue to rotate the crankshaft until all the water in the cylinder is drained.
4. Remove the air filter, remove the upper filter shell, remove the filter element and other components, remove the water in the filter and clean all parts. After drying, install it in accordance with regulations.
5. Remove the fuel tank, drain all the oil and water, then check for water in the diesel filter and oil pipe. If there is water, drain it. Clean the fuel tank and diesel filter, then put them back in place, connect the oil line, and add clean diesel to the tank.
6. Release the waste water into the water tank and water channels and clean the water channels. Turn on the throttle switch, start the diesel engine, check whether all parts are normal and fLet it run at medium speed for 5 minutes before you can use it normally.
7. Remove the generator, check the stator and rotor inside the generator, then dry them before reassembly.
After the engine floods, initial corrective measures should be taken according to the specific situation to avoid secondary damage to the vehicle, discover the key to the problem, and minimize damage to the car. .
After understanding the specific situation, if you find that water has entered the engine, you should remove the spark plug and artificially prevent the fuel supply system from starting and d ignition, so that the water in the engine can be drained successfully.
Once the inspection is complete, use compressed air to treat the electrical connections inside the motor to prevent water from corroding them.
Parts to pay attention tontion are: the fuse box, the sensor socket and the body water accumulation area.
After cleaning, test drive the vehicle to ensure normal engine operation during use.
