Use a test tube, connect the rubber tube to the glass tube at the small opening, and remove the glass tube from the water. Light it at the mouth of the glass tube (see the picture for details, you should understand)
But make sure the amount of gas generated during electrolysis is enough, otherwise the hydrogen will explode.
Discharge process
Positive electrode: PbO2+ 2e- + 4H+SO42-=PbSO4+2H2O (reduction reaction)
Negative electrode : Pb +SO42 - + 2e-=PbSO4 (oxidation reaction)
Total reaction: Pb+PbO2+H2SO42=2PbSO4+2H2O
Charging process
< p> Cathode: PbSO4 + 2e - = Pb + SO42- (reduction reaction)Anode: PbSO4 - 2e- + 2H2O = PbO2 + 4H+ + SO42- (oxidation reaction)
Total reaction: 2PbSO4 + 2H2O = Pb + PbO2 + 2H2SO4
