First level maintenance inspection
<1> Check the oil level
Use the diesel engine oil dipstick to check the oil level. In order to obtain an accurate reading, the oil level should be checked when the oil returns to the oil pan after 15 minutes of stopping. The oil level should match that of the original oil pan and the oil level should be kept as close. to the highest possible “H” mark.
Caution: Never operate a diesel engine when the oil mark is below the low "L" mark or above the high "H" mark (if necessary, add oil same quality and grade as in diesel engine).
<2> Check the cooling system
Keep the coolant filled to operating level, check the coolant level daily or before starting the machine, analyze the reasons forcoolant consumption and check the cooling plan, only after the cooling system has cooled down.
<3> Check intake hose connections
Check intake hose connections for loose clamp, cracked, punctured or worn hose , and if there is a hose If it is broken or otherwise damaged, tighten the clamp or replace parts as necessary to ensure that the air intake system is properly sealed and all air passes to through the air filter.
<4>Appearance inspection
Check for outside air leak, coolant leak, or oil leak. Tighten screw connections, gaskets, etc. or replace gaskets if necessary. Check the oil filler pipe caps on the oil dipstick to see if they are tight.
<5>Check for damage
Check the fuel system, etc., including theLook for faults or bruises on the fuel pump, and check all connections for leaks or damage.
<6>Check the drive belts
Visually check the fan, water pump and charger belts for damage or looseness. If the buckles are damaged, replace them with new ones. And adjust the tightness. If necessary, ask a professional technician to make adjustments.
1 The lubricating oil pressure is low.
2. Insufficient power.
3. Coolant or oil temperature is too high.
4. Excessive consumption of coolant, oil and fuel.
5. The engine noise is abnormal, the smoke color is abnormal, and the exhaust pipe is red.
Second maintenance inspection and inspectionsecondary maintenance inspection
During each secondary maintenance inspection, all elements of the primary maintenance inspection must be completed and the following elements must be added:
Warning: It is very important to properly maintain the generator during regular secondary maintenance inspections. The direct result of diesel engine operation (including load factor and fuel consumption) is engine oil contamination. After repairing the diesel engine, the added oil should be new oil instead of the oil drained from the oil pan.
<1>Replace diesel engine oil and oil filter
1. Start the diesel engine to reach operating temperature, stop it and remove the oil drain plug from the bottom of the oil pan (or open the oil drain switch) to drain the oil.
2. Reinstall the inlet screw capoil. Tighten the screw cap to a torque of 35 to 40 ft-lb (47 to 54 Newton meters); foot-pounds (61-75 Newton meters); for Cummins V28, K38, K50 and Perkins3008TAG, 3012TAG, use 60-70 foot pounds (81 -9 Newton meters).
3. Unscrew the combination oil filter, fill the new oil filter with specified clean engine oil, tighten it by hand until the gasket contacts the filter, then tighten 1/ 2 to 3/4 turn.
Note: Tightening with tools will warp or crack the filter head.
4. Add the specified type of engine oil to the crankcase up to the high “H” mark on the oil dipstick.
5. Start the diesel engine and visually check for oil leaks.
6. Stop the diesel engine and wait 15 minutes for the oil to return to the oil pan. Then use the oil dipstick to check the oil level again and add additional oil if necessary.necessary.
<2>Replace the diesel filter, water grid and air filter
Remove the diesel filter, water grid and air filter, clean the new diesel and fill it with clean product. diesel. The water grid can be installed directly without adding additional water. The installation method is the same as “Oil Filter Installation Method” above. Clean the air filter interface or dust collection bin before installation.
<3>Cleaning the crankcase fan
Disassemble the crankshaft and fan body, clean the metal parts and rubber parts with the specified cleaning solvent, and then check the installation and check for deformation. and damage. The parts will be replaced with new ones.
Note: CUMMINS&PERKINS diesel engines generally replace the oil, oil filter, diesel filter and water grid every 250cumulative operating hours or six months (whichever comes first), and add DCA rustproofing water if necessary. . Replace the air filter after 450 hours of operation.
Warning: The engine oil you replace must conform to the original engine oil label and the filter must use original parts or reliable accessories, otherwise it may damage the diesel engine or damage the diesel engine. engine, such as burning the crankshaft or pulling the cylinder, sexual damage.
<4>Appearance inspection
Check for outside air leak, coolant leak, or oil leak. Tighten screw connections, gaskets, etc. or replace gaskets if necessary. Check the oil filler pipe caps on the oil dipstick to see if they are tight.
<五>Check for damage
