The ancient site of the extended meeting of the Provisional Working Committee of the Communist Party of China on Jiulian Mountain is located at Zhaogong Temple on the top of the main mountain in Changre Village, Dongshui Town, Heping County.
In the summer of 1946, after the third detachment of the Dongjiang Column withdrew to northern Shandong, the remaining 58 soldiers hid in the Dongshui Mountains for a while. The temple gathered and a meeting enlarged. of Jiulian Mountain Temporary Working Committee was held. The "People's Self-Defense Company and Corps" and the "Dongjiang Column Demobilized Military Self-Defense Force" were restored, and the fight against the destruction of children and rural Qing continued. Since then, armed struggle in the Jiulian region has resumed in a widespread manner.
The temple was built during the Qing dynasty. It is oriented at 20 degrees southwest, covers a supearea of 85.5 square meters, measures 9 meters wide and 5.4 meters deep. It has a wood and brick structure, masonry walls and a hard roof. It has three rooms wide and one deep, with the main hall in the middle and the wings on either side. There is a semi-circular front courtyard in front of the hall, with a meter-high wall and bucket doors on the left and right.
In January 2012, it was listed on the protection list of immovable cultural relics of Heping County.

Heping County is located in the northeastern part of Guangdong Province, in the upper reaches of the Dongjiang River and the Jiulian Mountains region, on the border between Guangdong and Jiangxi. It borders Longchuan County and Dongyuan County to the east. to the south, Ping County to the west and Longnan City of Jiangxi Province to the north, borders with Dingnan County. The total area is 2,292.08 square kilometers.
