In "Cities: Skylines", when building dams, many players had such problems: On what kind of terrain should the dams be built? The following images are combined with the analysis of Everyone? .
The four dams produce electricity at full capacity without interruption. As the picture shows, the height of the dam should be lower than the water source (if the dam is higher than the water source and the flow is intercepted, the water source will not flow ), and the generator must be higher than sea level (it must be submerged in water even if the flow is cut off), as shown in the photo. There are 5 water sources with a flow rate of 1.0 (red, altitude 160), dam platform (green, altitude 150), and the generator is located between sea level 45 (yellow box left) and seafloor 0. If it is below sea level, there will be aflow cutoff phenomenon.
As for whether it should be higher or lower, I haven't tested it personally yet. The key is that it can generate 1,600 MW of electricity.
