The steam drum contains a mixture of water vapor. The water continues to be heated from the downcomer channel and the saturated steam exits the steam-water separator in the steam drum and reaches the superheater. Of course, saturated steam also contains water, but after being separated by the separator in the steam drum, the water is separated and returned to the steam drum, and the steam goes to the superheater.
The functions of the power plant boiler drum are:
1. Connect the downspout, water wall, collector, lead pipe, etc. to form a closed water circulation loop.
2. A certain amount of water and steam is stored in the steam drum, which has an energy storage effect. When the load changes, it has some buffer against the imbalance between evaporation and water supply. change the speed of the steam pressure effect. For example,as the load increases, the steam pressure drops. At this point, the water that was initially saturated may vaporize some of the steam on its own, causing the steam pressure to slowly drop. Of course, as the steam parameters increase, the boiler will easily increase in size and become less and less visible.
3.
The steam drum is equipped with steam-water separation device, steam cleaning device and other equipment, which can effectively carry out steam-water separation, cleaning steam, dosing, waste water discharge, etc. to ensure the steam quality and water quality of the pot.
4. The steam drum is the steam and water distribution center of the boiler.
