Tools needed: wrench, oil pump.
1. First clean the contact surface between the cylinder body and the water pump sealing ring.
2. Apply lubricant to the water pump seal ring, then install the water pump bolts.
3. Install the sync box.
4. Install the camshaft and timing belt shaft.
5. Install the timing pulley.
6. Then install the belt.
7. After installing the belt, install the timing case so that the belt installation is completed.
The steps for installing the automobile generator belt are as follows:
1. The tools that need to be prepared first are: 17mm Torx wrench (tension wheel adjustment), 10mm sleeve (remove generator belt guard), new generator belt (replace old belt) and poc lamphe (for lighting).
2. The original generator belt is getting old and needs to be replaced with a new one. First, when starting a cold car, use a flashlight to shine and observe if there is a squealing sound at the end of the pulley in the engine compartment. If so, the initial suspicion is that the generator belt is aging.
3. Remove the old belt and the new belt and compare them to see if the length and groove of the belt matches the one you purchased. Comparison of the old and the new.
4. Loosen the tension pulley and use a 17mm Torx wrench to push down. The original generator belt will be easily removed. If the tensioner pulley is relatively tight, it is recommended to use WD-40 lubrication to lubricate the tensioner pulley spring.
5. Install the new belt, place the belt cover on therocker arm, then place the belt on the pulley, making sure the distance between the pulleys is the shortest, then place the belt cover on the rocker arm.
6. When installing on wheel #6, use a 17mm wrench to press the tensioner wheel so that the belt can easily enter the generator wheel and the installation is completed.
The maintenance method of the generator belt is as follows:
1. Check the belt tension regularly if the belt appears too loose or too tight. be replaced in time.
2. Clean pulleys and belts regularly to prevent carbon deposits and dirt from affecting the normal operation of the belts.
3. Avoid bending and overstretching the belt to avoid damage.
4. Replace the belt regularly. It is generally recommended to replace the belt every 30,000 to 40,000 kmbeings. If the belt is found to be worn, aged, cracked, etc., it should be replaced in time.
