Conventional method of steam-water circulation in thermal power plants:
Superheated steam from boiler → steam turbine → condenser → condensate pump → low pressure heater → deaerator → feed water pump → high pressure heater → boiler
Large scale units have an intermediate reheat system. Typically this is an intermediate reheat. The steam, after the high pressure cylinder of the steam turbine has finished its work, is then heated in the boiler and then enters. the medium pressure cylinder of the steam turbine, then goes to the low pressure cylinder of the steam turbine.
