How to Deal with Leaks in a Solar Water Heater Bucket

There are two types of water leakage in the water storage barrel of the solar water heater:

1. Water leaking at the joints between the vacuum tube and the barrel body.

Solution: Replace the sealing ring.

2. The cannon is leaking.

This has virtually no maintenance value. The structure of the barrel itself is double-layered. The inner layer is a water storage barrel and the outer layer is a shell. Insulating materials are added between the two layers using foaming technology. If you want to repair, the foam insulation must be destroyed, and the walls of water storage barrels are relatively thin and difficult to weld and repair. After repair, the insulating material must be filled. So the maintenance value of this is not great. Fixing it may not save you much money compared to buying a new one.

Solution: Replace the barrel or replace the sola energyire.
