For example, the bonding degree of EVA is not up to standard and the strength of bondingison between EVA, tempered glass and backplane is not sufficient, which will cause premature aging of EVA and affect the service life of components.
3) The main function of cells is to produce electricity. Crystalline silicon solar cells and thin-film solar cells are the main market for power generation, both of which have their own advantages and disadvantages. The equipment cost is relatively low, but the consumption and battery costs are high, but the photoelectric conversion efficiency is also high. Thin-film solar cells are more suitable for generating electricity under outdoor sunlight. The equipment cost is relatively high, but the consumption and battery costs are very low. However, the photoelectric conversion efficiency is more than half that of solar cellsires made of crystalline silicon, but the low light effect is very high.
4) The function of EVA is the same as above, mainly to bond and encapsulate the power generation body and backplane.
5) Backplane functions, sealing, insulation and waterproofing (generally, TPT, TPE and other materials must be anti-aging, and the warranty of most component manufacturers is 25 years Tempered glass and aluminum alloy are generally acceptable, the key is that it depends on whether the back plate and silicone can meet the requirements )
6) Alloy protective laminate. Aluminum plays a certain sealing and supporting role.
7) The junction box protects the entire power generation system and serves as a power transfer station. If a component's short circuit junction box automatically disconnects the shorted battery string, the most important thing in the junction box to prevent the entire system from burning out is the selection of diodes. Depending on the battery type of the module, the corresponding diodes are also different.
8) The sealing function of silicone is used to seal connections between components and aluminum alloy frames, components and junction boxes. Some companies use double-sided tape and foam instead of silicone. Silica gel is widely used in China, with simple process, practical, easy to use and low cost.
There are two possibilities.
