The four main forms of damage to the diesel generator body are:
1. Wear of the unit bearings
2. A trachoma appears in the unit.
3. The cylinder head bolt hole is slippery or damaged.
4. Frost cracking is also the most common damage to the device.
Methods for treating damage to diesel generator set body:
1. The bearing hole of the diesel generator set is worn. This situation must be remedied immediately. When the bearing hole is slightly worn, it can be repaired by enlarging the outer circle of the bearing. Use oxygen welding to symmetrically point the steel wire to a small point on the outer ring of the bearing, correct it with a file, and then press it into the bearing hole before use.
2. The machine has a trachoma failure. First use a steel tap to enlarge the hole, then plug it aith aluminum wire or spot welding.
3. The cylinder head bolt hole is slippery or damaged. This situation is caused by excessive force when tightening the cylinder head nut or by cylinder damage. If it is a sliding thread in an individual threaded hole, the thread can be re-modified and a cylinder head bolt corresponding to the threaded hole can be processed.
4. Frost cracking. This is the most common damage to diesel generators in winter. Cracks in the bodywork can only be repaired by cold welding in unstressed parts. First, drill anti-crack holes at both ends of the crack, then drive a number of iron nails along the crack, then use several pieces of patching plates perpendicular to the direction of the crack and use low carbon steel welding rods to weld firmly along the fissure and the connection plate.
Notes on repairing damage to the diesel generator body:
1. When the bearing hole is seriously worn, the original hole insert can be drilled out and the inserted ring can be combined with the body. Make three small holes in the bottom and secure it with screws.
2. If the wire hole is damaged or multiple wire holes slip, it cannot be repaired.
3. Be careful to tap the weld with a small hammer during welding, and then use the flame to correct it after welding is completed.
