1. Factors to consider when selecting a generator
1 Mainly include mechanical and electrical performance, unit function, load capacity and dimming range, functions of 'automation, etc.
2. Purpose of the unit. Because diesel generators can be used in three situations: regular use, backup and emergency. Therefore, different uses have different requirements for diesel generator sets.
3. Load capacity. The load capacity and load variation range should be selected according to different uses, and the capacity of the single unit and the capacity of the standby diesel generator of the diesel generator set should be determined.
4. The operating environment conditions of the unit (mainly refers to altitude and climatic conditions)
5. Selection of generator andexcitation method
6. energy production Selection of machine automation function
2. Installation of the diesel generator
1. The installation site must be well ventilated. There must be sufficient air inlets at the site. The generator end and the diesel engine end should have good air outlet. The air outlet area should be more than 1.5 times larger than the water tank area.
2. The area around the installation site should be kept clean, and objects that may generate corrosive gases and vapors such as acids and alkalis should be avoided nearby. Fire extinguishing devices should be equipped wherever possible.
3. If used indoors, the smoke exhaust pipe must be connected outside. The diameter of the pipe must be ≥ the diameter of the silencer smoke outlet pipe. The connected hose does notit doesn't have anymore. more than 3 elbows to ensure that the smoke discharge should be smooth and the pipe should be inclined downward 5-10 degrees to avoid rainwater injection; if the drain pipe is installed vertically upward, a rain cover should be installed
4. The foundation is concrete When installing, use a level ruler to measure its flatness to ensure the unit is secured to a level foundation. There must be special anti-vibration pads or anchor bolts between the unit and the foundation.
5. The unit shell must have reliable protective grounding. For generators that require a neutral point to be directly grounded, the neutral point must be professionally grounded and equipped with lightning protection devices. use commercial electric generators. The electrical grounding device conducts the panointed neutral to be directly grounded.
6. The two-way switch between generator and mains must be very reliable to prevent reverse power transmission. The reliability of the two-way switch wiring must be inspected and approved by the local power supply department.
7. The starting battery wiring must be firm.
