2. Stop the diesel engine immediately after an emergency stop under load or sudden removal of the load. After the generator stalls, the circulation of cooling water stops, the heat dissipation capacity is greatly reduced and the heated parts lose their cooling. , which can easily cause overheating of the cylinder head and cylinder liner, cylinder block and other mechanical parts, causingcracks or excessive expansion of the piston and its blocking in the cylinder liner. On the other hand, if the diesel generator is stopped without idling to cool, the friction surface will be insufficiently oiled. When restarting the diesel engine, poor lubrication will worsen wear. Therefore, before stalling, the diesel generator must discharge the load, gradually reduce the speed and operate without load for a few minutes (it is necessary to operate without load for 3 minutes).
3. Run the diesel generator under load without preheating after a cold start. When the diesel generator starts after a cold start, due to the high viscosity and low fluidity of the oil, the oil pump supplies power. lack of oil and the friction surface of the machine is poorly lubricated due to lack of oil, causing rapid wear and even failures such as cylinder tearinges and the burning of tiles. Therefore, after the diesel engine is cooled and started, it must operate at idle speed to warm up when the standby oil temperature reaches more than 40°C (if used in winter, the water level of cooling reaches 60°C) before operating. charge ; the machine must be started in low gear and the motor must be in low gear each time. 4. If you press the accelerator hard after a cold start of the diesel engine, the speed of the diesel generator will increase sharply, which will lead to violent wear of some friction surfaces of the machine due to dry friction. Additionally, when the throttle is struck, the force received by the piston, connecting rod and vilshaft changes significantly, causing violent impact and easily damaging parts.
5. When you operate a diesel generator with insufficient cooling water or too high cooling water or engine oil temperatures, insufficient cooling water will reduce its cooling effect and the diesel engine will overheat because it cannot be cooled efficiently; cooling water, If the engine oil temperature is too high, it will also cause the diesel engine to overheat. At present, the cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston components and valves of the diesel generator are mainly subjected to large thermal loads, and their mechanical properties such as strength and toughness decrease sharply, increasing the deformation of the parts, reduces the assembly clearance between parts and accelerates the wear of the parts, in severe cases, fissafe and parts of the machine can get stuck.
