Checking bypass is to check whether the engine spark plug is under voltage
The specific operation is: disconnect the high voltage wire of a certain cylinder spark plug and keep it 1-2mm away from the surface of the motor body (metal part), start the motor and see if there is any spark between the high voltage line and the motor metal body.
Typically used to check engine instability and shaking.
If there is no current, it means there is no fire in the high voltage wire. Check the ignition coil (for example, replace the ignition coil and try again).
If there is a problem, check the spark plug (spark plug gap and buildup).
Failing rotor ground at some point does not cause of damage to the generator, but the grounding of the second point occurs one after. another, that is to say that when the rotor is brought to theground at two points, considerable fault current passes through the fault point and burns the rotor body, thereby increasing the field winding current, which may cause burns due to overheating due to part of this one. the winding is short-circuited, the magnetic flux of the air gap is unbalanced, causing vibrations and even magnetization of the shaft and turbine. The consequences of a two-point earthing fault are serious.
