Spark plugs, commonly called burners. The function of the spark plug is to discharge the pulsed high-voltage electricity sent through the high-voltage wire (burner wire), decompose the air between the two electrodes of the spark plug, and generate an electric spark to ignite the gas mixed in the cylinder. The main types are: quasi type spark plugs, protruding rim spark plugs, electrode type spark plugs, seat type spark plugs, pole type spark plugs, surface flash type spark plugs, etc. The spark plug cooperates with the ignition system and the fuel system to operate the engine and together determines the performance of the engine to a large extent.
Can spark plugs produce electricity? This is how the spark plug obtains its electrical energy. The ignition coil iscut by magnetic lines and an induced electromotive force is generated inside the coil. This induced electromotive force produces voltage and current. The generated voltage is sent to the cathode of the electronic ignition thyristor via a wire. When the trigger coil generates a pulse current, the thyristor turns on and electricity is sent to the primary coil of the high voltage box. When current flows through the primary coil of the high voltage component, a high induced voltage is generated in the secondary coil. The secondary coil is connected to the main electrode of the spark plug via a high voltage wire, causing a high voltage breakdown. /
< p> During use, the electrode tip and spark plug insulating skirt will have carbon deposits from normal combustion. If it is not cleaned for a long time, it will accumulate more and morethick, even leading to electrode leaks or even ignition failure, ultimately causing the cylinder to "knock". Therefore, car owners are recommended to carry out cleaning between 3,000 and 6,000 kilometers. Spark plug cleaning method:
1. Remove the burner (turn off the burner first and blow off the dust from the engine to prevent the dust from falling into the cylinder )
2. Check the working condition of the spark plug.
3. Spray the carburetor cleaning fluid into the bottle, pay attention to the angle, don't let it splash, just dip it into the burner and let it soak it for 3 to 5 hours. A few minutes are enough.
4. Remove it, spray it with carburetor cleaning fluid and brush it with a brush.
5. Dry or blow dry with an air gun.
6. Reinstall the spark pluge ignition on the engine.
7. Perform a test ignition to verify operational status.
